 Mr Jpatt and I have been hard at work in the studio with the incredibly talented Alex Winston for the past couple of months and we are happy to announce her first single will be coming out on July 27th on HeavyRoc Music.  "Choice Notes" is an incredibly fun and catchy song that will fit perfectly in your summer 2010 playlists.  Alex sings about how when she is down and out in her bedroom late at night she has her "choice notes" to make her feel better.  The B-side "Medicine" is more like an AA side which includes an anthemic chanting chorus over Winston's signature janky drums and catchy guitar chords. 

She recently just dropped her self recorded EP entitled "The Basement Covers" which you can download for free here.  

The limited edition 7" Vinyl is limited to 250 individually numbered copies with stunning art work by the amazing Frau Grau.  Pre-order to receive a week prior to release and with free links to download as mp3s along with bonus remixes.

I was not expecting much,but I was pleasantry surprised when I heard "The Basement Covers" EP From the opening song-It'll be Better, across the brilliant cover'Don't play with fire'(my favorite) until 'Yours to keep' is just like listening one long song the music flow like dreamy river and you don't feel the time pass...the production is very good,it gives something that other new groups miss! Great album,Alex Winston is talented singer and I'm looking forward to hear some new songs...
