Artist Spotlight: John Maus
by Daniel on September 29, 2009
In the small pockets of downtown New York this past week the name John Maus caught on like wildfire. It's funny how people in this city are always listening to music but rarely is anyone really putting each other on to something new. Most of the time we are all running the same Itunes. John Maus however is something that really struck a chord with me in my post job not sure what I am doing stage in life. He is a philosophy teacher at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu and clearly makes some awesome music on the side. He is also down with Ariel Pink which you can hear some similarities to in his music. Enjoy. http://www.myspace.com/johnmaus
