Labor Day Weekend -The Beach Boys - Don't Go Near The Water

Labor Day Weekend signals the end of summer. It has been a long summer but overall a good one. The best summer's are the one's that set you up for change in the fall. Over at HeavyRoc we are looking at some major changes in the fall. Things are about to get really busy this fall and so we must enjoy this weekend and don't listen to the Beach Boys. Go in the water.

This video of "Don't Go Near The Water" from the  Beach BoysSurf's Up album is when Brian Wilson had left the group. Blondie Chaplin who is 17 and singing and playing guitar with the group was filling in. He's the dude in the video who looks 17. Can you imagine being 17 and from South Africa and the next thing you know you are dropping acid in Los Angeles and hanging out with Jack Nicholson. Kind of bugged.
