Last night I made a quick stop off at Samuel's house to hang out for a bit. Sam is close to finishing his album so now the next steps are to establish the visual elements for his project. (i.e. photoshoot, stylist, logo, etc.) While I am pretty useless in the studio I love to work on the visual side of an album release. All of us have gone back and forth amongst ourselves and with the label about how things should look and who should do what. So after we turned off the new Animal Collective album that leaked on some cutty music forum Sam belongs to he showed me some videos he liked. You may be familiar with all of these or none of these but the common theme amongst them is the directors and artists went above and beyond what a music video is capable of achieving as short form content.
